| Resident
Survey Results are In
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The most current Resident Survey is available online.
The results rate community services and aspects of living in
The Woodlands by village and overall. The survey
shows that residents of Grogan's Mill:
- have lived here longer--an average of 17 years
as compared with 4 for residents of Sterling Ridge
and eleven overall. This explains much of the
reason that we have a different opinion about the
community than others.
- are older than other villages and have fewer children
living with us
- At $106,000 our household income is more than
double the national average of $50,233, but lower
that the community average of $122,000
- 69% of us are college graduates as compared 28% nationally and
83% for The Woodlands
- As compared with other villages the aspects of
living in The Woodlands we enjoy are the trees and convenience to
everything. (You already knew that)
- We are most unhappy with the lack of recreational
facilities and pools in particular. (Note
that there are new programs available at the new
natatorium www.woodlandsassociations.org)
- We are the only village that shows an internet
newsletter as a source of community information.
